SCARAN - Priority Service Plan
The Scaran Priority Service Plan gives you a Master-Tune-Up to keep your heating and cooling system running at peak efficiency with fewer breakdowns: you will also get “first-in-line” service and a host of money-saving discounts. Master Tune-Ups are customized for gas furnaces or boilers, electric heat systems and central air conditioning. Tune-Ups will be performed Monday through Friday during regular working hours. Priority Service Plan members receive the following:
16-Point Master Heating Tune-Up
1. Clean Burners and inspect heat exchanger.
2. Lubricate all motors, bearings, fans and circulators.
3. Clean and adjust pilot assembly.
4. Drain expansion tanks or install customer supplied air filters.
5. Test and adjust pressure regulator.
6. Test and adjust operation of safety and operating controls.
7. Inspect flue pipe and draft diverter.
8. Monitor for combustion leaks.
9. Test gas valve operation.
10. Check blower motor (and belt if applicable).
11. Test and tighten all wiring and connections.
12. Adjust burner for maximum efficiency.
13. Turn exposed dampers to heating position if marked (no balancing).
14. Inform customer of equipment condition and conservation measures to save money. Recommend necessary repairs – with no hard sell on replacement or repair.
15. Verify proper combustion air levels.
16. Check visible duct work for leaks and cleanliness.
15-Point Master Cooling Tune-Up
1. Lubricate all moving parts, such as blower motor and condenser fan.
2. Evaluate condition of air filters. Clean filter or replace with customer supplied filter.
3. Measure refrigerant superheat to fine-tune its charge.
4. Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow (if equipped with EZ-Trap).
5. Clean outdoor condenser coil.
6. Check blower motor (and belt if applicable).
7. Test “temperature drop” at return and supply air. Adjust blower speed. 8. Safety test all controls for proper operation.
9. Meter voltage and amperage in all motors. Test for worn bearings.
10. Test operation and condition of compressor contacts.
11. Inspect start and run capacitors and relays for bulges, rust, leaks, and values.
12. Tighten and safety test all wires and connections.
13. Inspect disconnect box.
14. Inform customer of equipment condition and conservation measures to save money. Recommend necessary repairs – with no hard sell on replacement or repair.
15. Check defrost timer, reversing valve, supplemental heat and safety.

(Just call before 5 p.m.) They are the only customers who receive service on weekends and holidays. Diagnostic fees are always half off. First and last service calls of the day are reserved exclusively for Priority Service Plan customers. Repair discount of 15%. We will not make any repairs without customer’s prior approval. Five-year warranty on all parts replaced by Scaran, provided that the plan is kept current. (Warranty excludes heat exchanger and compressor.)If we replace a part and it breaks, we will repair if for free, for up to five years.
